Grounded in the Bible, Focused on Mission.

The 2026 Week of Spiritual Emphasis for the Northern Zambia Union Conference stands as a sacred season of renewal, reflection, and wholehearted recommitment to God’s purpose. More than a scheduled spiritual gathering, it is a deliberate moment set apart for deep introspection, collective revival, and renewed alignment with the divine calling entrusted to the church.

This year’s emphasis is guided by the powerful theme: “Grounded in the Bible, Focused on Mission.”
This theme calls the church to return to its unshakable foundation—the Word of God—while moving forward with clarity, urgency, and unwavering dedication to the work Christ has entrusted to His people. To be grounded on the Bible is to allow Scripture to shape belief, identity, and direction. To be focused on mission is to live intentionally for the advancement of God’s kingdom, placing purpose above comfort and calling above convenience.

In a time when competing priorities and daily pressures can easily dull spiritual sensitivity, this year’s emphasis invites leaders and members alike to pause, listen, and rediscover the clarity of God’s vision for His church. It is a call to stand firmly rooted in biblical truth while advancing boldly in service, witness, and spiritual leadership.

Through a series of deeply uplifting and spiritually compelling messages, Dr Pardon Mwansa calls church leaders to return to the foundations of their calling—to remember why they serve, whom they serve, and how they are to serve. His appeal is both pastoral and prophetic: to move forward not with hesitation or self-reliance, but with bold faith, spiritual courage, and complete dependence upon the Lord. These messages challenge the church to rekindle its spiritual passion, strengthen its missional focus, and embrace the transforming power of a life fully surrendered to God. We warmly invite you to explore the messages, reflections, and key insights emerging from this year’s Week of Spiritual Emphasis. As you engage with these teachings, may your spirit be renewed, your faith strengthened, and your heart opened afresh to the voice of God—calling, guiding, and empowering you for faithful service.
