The Northern Zambia Union Conference membership currently stands at 661,175 as of
December 31, 2020. This is distributed as follows: Copperbelt Zambia Conference 185,456,
Luapula Zambia Conference 83,428, Midlands East Zambia Conference 97, 263, Midlands
West Zambia Conference 147, 774, North Zambia Field 102, 975 and North Western Zambia
Conference 44,279. In spite of the Covid 19 pandemic, the membership continues to grow.
The Adventist Church Management System (ACMS) record is at 230,622. We have added
26,053 up to April this year. The remaining membership has to be uploaded onto the system
by December 31, 2022. This is a huge challenge but it has to be achieved. This program is
being carried out concurrently with membership audit, which has to be completed within
the same time frame. In order to secure the new members coming into the church,
Nurturing and Retention Committees have to be formed at all levels of the union.
We are encouraging those that are contributing articles to the Encyclopedia of the Seventh
day Adventists (ESDA) to hasten the process of the presentation of their articles. We are
calling for volunteers to come forward and write on the remaining articles for the same.
